Peterborough Purchasing By-law Update

City staff presented a report to Council with recommendations to change the current Purchasing By-law.  A review of the Purchasing By-law is required a minimum of once within each term of Council, or every four years. Peterborough City Council authorized the use of the legal professionals at The Procurement Office, to assist in 2018 in the review and recommendations to update the By-law, as well as to upgrade procurement templates, procedures and protocols. The Procurement Office is experienced with municipal government procurement. They have provided input to ensure the various Trade Agreements implemented in the last few years are considered in the documents and processes.
